Day 1 - Telluride to Last Dollar

We started the day in front of the local bike store where we meet Mike from the San Juan Hut System. He gave us the trail maps, explained the route, and sent us on our way.

The route for day one was mostly uphill, climbing out of town following switchbacks to the top of a mountain pass. At 11,000 feet, the cabin was tucked away in a small clearing in the trees and looks out over the mountains surrounding Telluride.
